The "2026 2nd Frontier Academic Forum and Seminar on Erosion, Wear and Protection Technology" was held in Lanzhou on January 17-18, 2026. It was hosted by the Technical Committee on Erosion, Wear and Protection Technology of the Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection, and undertaken by the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Gansu Chemical Society.Distinguished experts were invited to attend the forum, including Professor Shao Tianmin from Tsinghua University, Director of the Technical Committee on Erosion, Wear and Protection Technology of the Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection; and Researcher Zhou Feng, Chairman of the Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection and Director of the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
